Diurnal Evolution and Estimates of Hourly Diffuse Radiation Based on Horizontal Global Radiation, in Cerrado-Amazon Transition, Brazil

چکیده

In the Cerrado-Amazonian ecotone in State of Mato Grosso, intensely altered by anthropic action, knowledge and processes energy conversion balance are still incipient, making monitoring modeling diffuse radiation essential for several applications. The objective this study was to evaluate seasonality diurnal evolution estimate hourly (Hdh) incident horizontal plane between June 2011 October 2016. instantaneous measurements (5 min) underwent geometric, astronomical, anisotropic corrections, with subsequent integrations. its radiometric fractions evaluated. estimates were made considering total seasonal data groupings (water stations region) different cloudiness classes (atmospheric transmissivity index—KTh). behavior similar that global at top atmosphere, maximum values solar noon. correlations Kdh KTh showed third-order polynomial behavior, observed ranging from 0.8 0.9, less than 0.2. Estimation equations based on underestimated radiation, a better performance presented models adjusted annual groupings. Among parameterized estimating obtained literature, those calibrated regionally study, together developed tropical regions, statistical performances.

Estimating and modeling monthly mean daily global solar radiation on horizontal surfaces using artificial neural networks

In this study, an artificial neural network based model for prediction of solar energy potential in Kerman province in Iran has been developed. Meteorological data of 12 cities for period of 17 years (1997–2013) and solar radiation for five cities around and inside Kerman province from the Iranian Meteorological Office data center were used for the training and testing the network. Meteorologic...

diurnal variations in solar ultraviolet radiation on horizontal and vertical plane

background: in general, measurements of solar ultraviolet (uv) radiation are related to horizontal surfaces. while the humans walking and standing outdoors expose to the natural solar uv radiation, their eyes, cheeks, extremities, trunks, or many other anatomical sites are close to vertical plane and random orient to different directions. in this study, we characterized the diurnal variations...

Hybrid methodology for hourly global radiation forecasting in Mediterranean area

The renewable energies prediction and particularly global radiation forecasting is a challenge studied by a growing number of research teams. This paper proposes an original technique to model the insolation time series based on combining Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and Auto-Regressive and Moving Average (ARMA) model. While ANN by its non-linear nature is effective to predict cloudy days, A...

Prediction of Hourly Solar Radiation on Horizontal and Inclined Surfaces for Muscat/Oman

In this paper, hourly terrestrial radiation: direct beam, diffuse and global solar radiation are modelled and calculated based on daily measured data for a horizontal surface. In addition, the same parameters were modelled for inclined surfaces. Most of the parameters modelled in this work represent a part of the input data required by building thermal simulation and solar energy systems softwa...

Hourly Global Radiation Prediction from Geostationary Satellite Data

The possibility to generate 2-D predictions of solar radiation one hour ahead and over a large geographic area is the focus of this study. In that view, hourly satellite maps of irradiations extracted from the Heliosat-3 have been used as training data and inputs of artificial neural networks (ANN) and as inputs for apersistence model. These models were computed for each point of the map, allow...
